Compact series fiber-coupled, near-infrared (X nm) diode lasers are available with output powers ranging from 50 to 1200 W. They include the diode source and all required power and cooling equipment, making them an efficient, flexible and reliable light source for industrial applications such as plastics welding, selective soldering, brazing and heat treating.

The Compact series are reliable, easy-to-use sources suitable for a variety of materials processing applications. They combine the inherent reliability and convenience of diode lasers, including single-phase power requirements, with integrated fiber delivery for operational flexibility.

Compact series products are available in five different versions:

  • Compact Mini is an air-cooled, table top unit that delivers up to 50 W of output power for applications such as soldering and polymer welding.
  • The air-cooled Compact provides up to 120 W of output. It is housed in a standard 19 inch rack mount chassis, and is useful for polymer welding, soldering and heat treating.
  • The Compact SE is air-cooled and rack-mounted, and outputs up to 100 W. It features an advanced controller with E-service capability, and is targeted at polymer welding, soldering and heat treating.
  • Compact Evolution offers up to 600 W of output, and is rack-mounted. This higher power requires water cooling. It utilizes an advanced controller with E-service capability, and is targeted at polymer welding, soldering and heat treating.
  • Compact Evolution XL is the highest power member of the Compact family, and is available with up to 1200 W of power. This water cooled, rack mounted laser system also includes an advanced controller with E-service capability, and is targeted at heat treating and welding.
